What is Fall/Spring league soccer like?

Fall and spring season are a traditional local travel team competition environment. It is a recreational league, meaning that there are no tryout and that all participants will share playing time equitably. We have volunteer coaches who do a great job balancing competition and playing opportunity. Travel should be expected to Grays Harbor, Thurston, Lewis, and Mason county area teams. League play begins for kids U9 players and extends to high school players.

ht is Fall/Spring Jr. Soccer Program (U6 & U8 Divisions)

Jr. Soccer is Shelton FC’s local developmental program designed for young players ages 4–7, with separate U6 and U8 divisions. This recreational program helps kids build a strong foundation in soccer while preparing them to enter league play in future seasons. There are no tryouts — all participants are welcome and receive equal playing time in a fun, inclusive environment. Jr. Soccer follows the play-practice-play model, where kids develop individual skills through fun, soccer-based activities in each session. Parents serve as volunteer coaches and assistants, helping guide players through drills and small-sided games. Teams practice twice a week, and players participate in in-house competitions on weekday evenings, keeping games local and convenient for families.   Whether your child is brand new to soccer or building on what they've learned, Jr. Soccer is a fun and supportive way to grow as a player!
